League Two preview

Andy Scott's side missed out on League One on Tuesday, going down 3-1 at play-off chasing Dagenham, which ended a five-match unbeaten run.

But the Bees can secure promotion if they win at the Quakers - who still have a mathematical chance of the play-offs - or results elsewhere go their way.

Second-placed Wycombe can also boost their promotion hopes with a second away win in five days when they travel to Port Vale.

Peter Taylor's side beat relegated Luton in midweek and now face an out-of-form Vale side who lost 3-0 at Grimsby last time.

Third-placed Exeter could also go up - their second successive promotion - if they beat Morecambe and Bury lose at Gillingham.

But it will not be easy for the Grecians as they entertain a Shrimps side who still have an outside chance of the play-offs - sitting three points off seventh - and will be looking to win.

Crucial clash

Perhaps the tie of the day at the top is between Bury and Gillingham which pitches fourth against fifth.

Both still have aspirations of going up automatically so it is a must-win game for the in-form pair.

Sixth-placed Rochdale will be looking to guarantee their position in the play-offs with a victory at rock-bottom Luton, while Dagenham can keep hold of the last play-off place with a win at lowly Notts County.

But if the Daggers do slip up, there are a whole host of sides itching to capitalise, not least Shrewsbury, who are level on points in eighth.

The Shrews will fancy their chances when they entertain Lincoln given they have won more times at home - 14 - than any other side in the division.

Ninth-placed Chesterfield will be looking to bounce back - and stay in the play-off hunt - after their seven-match unbeaten run was brought to a halt by Gillingham last time.

This defeat sees them two points off the play-offs with an inferior goal difference and they desperately need to win at mid-table Accrington.

Slump

A run of nine games without a win has seen Bradford slump to 11th in the table, four points off the play-offs.

Again Stuart McCall's side need a win in the home Yorkshire derby against Rotherham to keep their faint promotion hopes alive.

Down at the bottom, the tie of the day is undoubtedly the clash between fourth-from-bottom Bournemouth and third-last Grimsby.

The pair are locked on 40 points after registering victories last time and whoever wins here will be sure of safety.

But both could also be safe if second-from-bottom Chester fail to win at mid-table Aldershot.

While Mark Wright's side are staring into the abyss, they can at least take heart from their three-game unbeaten run on the road, including victories over Accrington and Notts County in their last two.

In the last League Two game of the day, Macclesfield and Barnet take each other on and there could be plenty of goals here given both sides can play with the freedom of being safe.
