Chester manager Bobby Williamson is ringing the changes after transfer listing Sean Hessey and moving for Paul Butler.
Hessey does not feature in Williamson's plans and his details will be circulated amongst League Two and Conference clubs.
The 28-year-old defender has featured for City 91 times during three seasons.
Meanwhile, defender Butler will undergo a medical and discuss personal terms at the Saunders Honda Stadium on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old played for League Two side MK Dons last term and counts Sunderland and Leeds amongst his former clubs.
