Conference outfit Morecambe have signed midfielder Craig Stanley from newly-promoted Hereford United.
Stanley failed to agree new terms at Edgar Street giving Morecambe manager Sammy McIlroy the chance to pounce.
Stanley was impressed with McIlroy's ambition and is now looking forward to helping the side earn promotion to the Football League.
"I couldn't agree terms with Hereford and when Sammy McIlroy showed an interest in me I was extremely interested," he said to the club's official website.
"I played in both games against Morecambe in the play-off semi-finals and I know they are a club intent on reaching the Football League.
"I have always liked the way they try to play football and I think the way they play will suit my style.
"Sammy McIlroy really sold the club to me. He is very ambitious for the club and I can't wait to get started."
