Barnet youngster Tanashe Abrahams has landed a loan move to South African Premier League outfit Mamelodi Sundowns.

The striker will spend two months in South Africa with the Bees hoping he will benefit from regular first-team football. Academy manager James Thorn told the club website: "An exciting and unique opportunity came up for one of our scholars to go out on loan abroad and having worked out all the logistics we felt it was too good an opportunity for Tanashe to turn down. "The chance to go and experience a different style of football in a different culture is one that not enough English players take. "Their football development continues but they get an excellent life experience which will stand them in good stead for the future both on and off the pitch."
