Bulls forward hoping to earn new deal

Gavin McCallum is looking to end the season on a positive note and earn a new contract at Hereford. The Canada-born frontman arrived at Edgar Street last summer, penning a one-year contract. Since then he has gone on to register eight league goals in 17 starts and seven substitute appearances. He is determined to reach double figures before the end of the campaign, and has three games left in which to make that target. McCallum hopes an impressive run-in will be enough to convince the Bulls that he is deserving of fresh terms, allowing him to join up with them again next term. "I'm playing for a contract next season and I have three games to hopefully impress and hopefully the manager (Graham Turner) will see what I can do," he told the club's official website. "But with the games remaining we are obviously safe from relegation now."
