Former Luton midfielder Michael Leary has become Barnet's sixth signing of the summer.
Leary spent the second half of last term on loan at Brentford and was then released by Luton at the end of the season.
Barnet boss Paul Fairclough has moved quickly to bring Leary in, and introduced the 24-year-old to his new team-mates as they reported back for pre-season training.
"I am very happy to be here at Underhill and look forward to kick-starting my career again," he told the club's official website.
Max Porter, Ashley Carew, James Cole, Neal Bishop and Anthony Thomas have also been recruited this summer.
Experienced trio Sagi Burton, Ernie Cooksey and Mark Hughes, meanwhile, have all joined Barnet on trial.
Barnet midfielder Jason Puncheon has also signed a new deal spanning until 2009.
