Barnet have extended the contracts of Ben Bowditch and Louis Soares after they impressed manager Paul Fairclough during their initial one-month spells.

Midfielder Bowditch (pictured) made his Barnet debut in the 4-2 Carling Cup win at Bristol City, while 20-year-old defender Soares made an appearance in the 3-1 defeat at Wrexham on Monday.

Both have agreed deals to keep them at the club until the end of January.

Morgaro Gomis, who was a on similar one-month contract, will leave the club after his deal was not extended and midfielder James Elmes has departed the Underhill Stadium by mutual consent.

Former Grays Athletic and Swindon Town striker Lloyd Opara has been on trial with the League Two new boys.
