Grimsby boss Russell Slade is looking to bolster his squad with the acquisitions of Terrell Forbes and Paul Harries.

The Mariners have endured a miserable start to life in League Two after relegation last term and Slade is keen to reshuffle his squad.

Attacking full back Forbes has surprisingly been allowed to leave Queens Park Rangers after three seasons in the capital and has now begun talks with Slade.

The player arrived at Grimsby on Tuesday and will train with the club for the remainder of the week.

Meanwhile, attacking reinforcement comes in the form of Harries.

The 6ft target man hails from Australia and is looking to settle at a club after a nomadic career which has taken him to Portsmouth, Basingstoke, Crystal Palace, Torquay, Carlisle and Macclesfield.
