Notts County manager Shaun Derry has signed winger Will Hayhurst from League One rivals Preston.
Hayhurst has put pen to paper on an 18-month deal, having been allowed to leave the Lilywhites for an undisclosed fee. The 20-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at Deepdale, made his professional debut at the end of the 2011/12 season as a half-time substitute against Charlton. Hayhurst spent the end of last season on loan at York and made 11 appearances for Preston this term. In total, he made 48 senior appearances for the Lilywhites, scoring four goals.
