Sky Sports understands former Ipswich and Arsenal striker Chris Kiwomya is in the frame for the manager's job at Tamworth.

Conference outfit Tamworth are searching for a new manager following the sacking of Marcus Law earlier this week.

Dale Belford has been appointed caretaker manager at Tamworth, but the club are actively looking for applicants for the job.

Kiwomya is currently development squad manager at League One outfit Notts County and he has impressed at Meadow Lane.

The 43-year-old also worked at Ipswich in a similar role under Roy Keane and he has helped develop several young players during his time at Portman Road and Notts County.

Kiwomya is thought to be keen to take his first steps into management and is interested in the vacant role at Tamworth.
