Yoga is the answer for Kelly

Notts County defender Julian Kelly has been inspired by Ryan Giggs to take up yoga in an attempt to prevent injury.

The 23-year-old made his first-team return in the 1-0 victory against Swindon on Saturday, his first start in almost two months following a hamstring problem. Kelly missed the last three games of last season with the same injury, but is hoping a new yoga regime will ensure he has a long run in Keith Curle's team. He told the Nottingham Post: "I'm going to give yoga a go - I will try anything to stop it happening again. "Giggs always used to do his hamstring, but he's never done it since he started it. If it works for me like it has him that will be great because I want to be fit and playing every week, not sitting in the stands depressed. "I have a few hamstring problems and I hadn't really recovered from one from the end of last season. But hopefully it's all behind me and I'll be back for good now."
