Sky Sports understands Notts County defender Krystian Pearce is poised to join Barnet on loan.
Barnet boss Mark Robson has lined up a move for the central defender to shore up his leaky rearguard.
The Bees are currently rooted to the bottom of the League Two table and have conceded 12 goals in five league games this term.
Pearce is currently down the pecking order at Meadow Lane and has to feature for the Magpies.
County boss Keith Curle is happy to loan him out so that he can get some valuable first-team action under his belt.
