Magpies: Set to face Crewe

Notts County provide the first challenge for newly-promoted Crewe as the 2012/13 League One season gets underway on August 18.

Keith Curle's Magpies travel to Gresty Road to take on the League Two play-off winners, with the reverse fixture pencilled in for February 9.

Home games with Hartlepool (August 21) and Walsall (August 25) come next before County hit the road again to face Bury on September 1.

Portsmouth are the first relegated club to arrive at Meadow Lane (September 22) before Curle's men travel to Coventry on October 20 and welcome Doncaster seven days later.

The busy festive schedule begins with a Boxing Day trip to Shrewsbury, before an away game at Stevenage on December 29 sets up a home clash with MK Dons on New Year's Day.

The Magpies travel to the Keepmoat Stadium for their second game against Doncaster on April 20 before the campaign draws to a close against the Sky Blues in Nottingham on April 27.
