Midfielder Curtis Thompson has signed his first professional deal with League One club Notts County.
The 18-year-old, who can also play at right-back, made his first-team debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Chesterfield earlier this month and has put pen to paper on an 18-month deal.
"Curtis has shown great dedication, great determination and no end of quality since I've been here," manager Martin Allen told the club's official website.
"He really is pushing forwards towards the first-team squad.
"We've seen from a few performances so far in the first team that he can do very well and I am hoping, with continued hard work, dedication and commitment that he can go on and be a regular in our team."
