Derby manager Nigel Clough is set to put Dean Leacock and Stephen Pearson on the transfer market.

Defender Chris Riggott also set to return from injury

Derby manager Nigel Clough has announced Dean Leacock and Stephen Pearson will be made available for transfer. Pearson and Leacock are set to return for the reserve fixture against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday following knee and abdominal problems respectively. With their contracts due to expire at the end of the season, the Rams boss will inform the pair that their services are no longer required with the Pride Park side in the week. Clough said: "They are just starting their comebacks now, realistically with a view to getting a couple of games and being available for loan, with a view to a permanent move in January." Midfielder Pearson has scored twice for the club since 2009, with defender Leacock netting a single goal in his Derby career. Defender Chris Riggott is also set to feature in the match following his recovery from an Achilles injury.
