Edwards hails returning duo

Image: Judge: Big impact on Magpies return

Notts County defender Mike Edwards has praised the impact of Alan Judge and Krystian Pearce after their injury comebacks.

Attacking midfielder Judge made his comeback from a three-month absence with a broken foot and scored his first goal for the club in the 2-1 win at Swindon on Saturday. Meanwhile defender Pearce, sidelined since early March due to a head injury, returned for the 1-1 draw with Brentford on Monday. These two vital results have helped the Magpies open up a four-point gap between themselves and the relegation zone with just two games remaining. Edwards told the Nottingham Evening Post: "Judgey changed the game for us at Swindon. He's a little bundle of energy and always wants the ball. He's a quality player and we have certainly missed him a lot while he's been injured. "It was good to see Krystian back as well. He couldn't do anything for five or six weeks so he's not had much training either, but he came in and did well. "They have both come back at just the right time because we have some big games left to play and they have given the squad a big boost."
