Notts County winger Tony Scully has signed a new two-year contract with the club - while seven players have been told they can leave Meadow Lane.

Scully (pictured) originally joined the club in February on a short-term deal, but he has now been rewarded with a new contract.

"Tony has done well for us since he came and joined us," said County boss Gary Mills.

"We gave him his chance to play league football again, and he has taken it. He has earned his contract."

The club have now confirmed that Nick Fenton, Kevin Nicholson, Simon Baldry, Frazer McHugh, Paul Riley, Jonathan Bewers and Mark Briggs will all be leaving.

County told Ian Baraclough and Stuart Garden last week that they would not be kept on.
