NOTTS COUNTY midfielder Paul Bolland will be out of action for about six weeks with a broken foot.

The 22-year-old injured himself during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Mansfield Town at Meadow Lane.

An X-ray on Monday then revealed that Bolland had broken a bone in his foot and he could now miss the rest of the year with the problem.

The news will be a bitter blow for Magpies boss Bill Dearden as it adds to his already swollen injury list including the likes of Jon Ashton, Tony Hackworth, Nick Fenton, Michael Brough and Richard Liburd.

The only spot of good news for Dearden comes with the return of Ian Baraclough, who will now go straight into contention for a start in the FA Cup at the weekend.
