Ainsworth content with point

Wycombe player/caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth admitted he was happy to take a point from his side's 0-0 draw with Aldershot.

The Shots were reduced to 10 men after half an hour when Anthony Tonkin picked up a second yellow card for a lunge on Ainsworth, but both sides were unable to find a breakthrough as the clash ended in stalemate. "Before the game, a point away at Aldershot would have been good," Ainsworth said. "The details of the game, with them being down to 10 men, makes it look like we should have taken it, but it's not easy playing against 10 men sometimes - they go ultra-defensive and camp in their half. "It was a stalemate, but with the injury crisis we have at the moment any point is a good point. We only had one person in the back four playing in his natural position - to say that and come away with a clean sheet is really special for them. "The attacking boys, myself included, really didn't make it happen and we'll work on that, but it's another clean sheet and I'm pleased with that."
