Caretaker Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth insists they can turn their poor form around ahead of Tuesday's game with Plymouth.
Wanderers have lost their last four league outings but Ainsworth believes he has seen enough from his side to convince him they can arrest their slide down League Two.
"The application was back along with the drive and the passion," he told the club's official website of Saturday's defeat to Dagenham.
"The lads were really up for the game so it is hard to take. It is never easy when you are the bottom of the league but we can turn it around - hopefully starting at home to Plymouth.
"We have two winnable games now. It is a very, very important week. We haven't been this low for a long time. It is tough.
"We have to pick them up off the floor and start winning again. If we have to work every day then that is what we will do."
