Wycombe defender Leon Johnson has received a call-up to the Grenada national squad for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

The Caribbean island is the smallest nation ever to qualify for the Gold Cup, and Johnson will link up with his team-mates before heading to Los Angeles for their opening Group B fixture against Jamaica on June 6. The Spice Boyz then take on Honduras in Miami on June 10 and Guatemala in New York two days later. Johnson, 30, is currently considering a one-year contract extension with the Chairboys, having enjoyed a successful end to the season which saw the Buckinghamshire side promoted to League One.
