Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman has signed Oldham Athletic defender Joe Jacobson on loan until January.
The former Wales Under-21 captain, 24, had a spell on loan with Stanley during the 2006-07 campaign and goes straight into the squad for Friday's FA Cup second-round tie away at Port Vale. "Joe's a good player who we have had before," said Coleman. "He can play in a couple of positions, he's certainly comfortable on the ball and he has a good left foot. All the fans liked him when he was here first time round so I hope he enthuses them as well."
