Cowan-Hall signs season-long deal

Scunthorpe United have completed the signing of forward Paris Cowan-Hall. The 20-year-old has signed a deal until the end of the season at Glanford Park after impressing boss Ian Baraclough during a trial stint with the club. Cowan-Hall has been a free agent since leaving Portsmouth in the summer and he is now looking forward to kick-starting his career with Scunthorpe. "Scunthorpe are a good club and I feel like I'm going to get along well here," he told the club's official website. "It's a decent move for me and I'm happy to be here. I feel like I'll get a chance. "All I can do is play well and hope I can benefit the team. "There's a young squad here and I want to be part of it. "I've got a lot of pace and a keen eye for goal. I hope I can bring a lot to the side. "I love putting the ball in the back of the net. I get involved, track back, tackle and work hard. "I'm comfortable up front, or on either wing. I like attacking and feel ready." Baraclough added: "Paris is a young lad who has scored a lot of goals at reserve and youth team level. "I feel he's got something and it will be good to have him here with us for the remainder of the season. "If I was to turn around and look at the substitutes' bench now I know that whoever is on there will give us good options and won't weaken the side. "There is a better look about the squad now."
