Wycombe Wanderers striker Craig Faulconbridge is struggling to be fit for the start of the League Two season.

Faulconbridge is suffering with a knee injury and is unlikely to be ready for the opening game of the campaign against Cambridge on August 7.

The forward is expected to be missing for a few weeks and will be absent for Wycombe's upcoming pre-season friendlies.

Chairboys boss Tony Adams also has injury concerns regarding a further two members of his squad.

Danny Senda is also being hampered by a knee injury although his problem is not deemed to be too serious.

Veteran midfielder Keith Ryan picked up an ankle knock in the weekend friendly against Beaconsfield.

Though he left the ground on crutches, Ryan is not anticipated to be absent from Adams' plans for too long.
