Rochdale's first away game of the new League Two season is a trip to Burton on August 10.
Dale already knew their first match is at home to Hartlepool after the Football League announced six special league fixtures to be played on the opening weekend to mark its 125th anniversary. The Burton game is followed by a home clash with Chesterfield before successive away games against Plymouth and Oxford. The local derbies against Lancashire rivals Bury take place on September 7 (home) and March 8 (away). Keith Hill's men host Mansfield on Boxing Day and Bristol Rovers three days later before travelling to Scunthorpe on New Year's Day. Cheltenham are the final visitors to Spotland on April 26 before the campaign ends the following weekend at newly-promoted Newport County.
