Southend boss Phil Brown has confirmed he is interested in signing two of last season's loanees Matthew Lund and Ben Reeves.
Lund has been released by Stoke while Reeves was let go by Southampton, ending a 12-year association with the club. And Brown admits he would like to see the midfield pair back at Roots Hall. "I was impressed with Matthew's attitude and mentality in the end when he was with us last season," he told the Echo. "Ben will also be a great asset to somebody if he can stay on the field of play for 30 or 40 games which he's not used to doing. And if that was with Southend, then fantastic."
