Rochdale boss Keith Hill has given his players a four-game window to make an impression as he looks to pick up points quickly.
Dale resumed life under Hill after a 19-month break with a goalless draw at Cheltenham - a first clean sheet since the end of October.
The Spotland playing staff has changed beyond recognition since Hill's departure to Barnsley and, although he does not plan wholesale changes, he insists they must hit the ground running.
"We've probably got between two and four games really - it's an open window, an open door for the players to really make an impression and for me to make an impression on them," he said.
"But we can't ebb away too many of the games to see what happens. We've got to make sure that we address certain issues that need addressing and try to win as many points as we possibly can.
"There's probably a four-game window of opportunity for the the players where I've got to make my mind up."
