Defender Kevin McIntyre appears poised to leave Accrington and reunite with former boss John Coleman at Rochdale.

The 34-year-old's present deal with Stanley expires this summer, but the club have moved to offer him an extended stay. However, according to reports in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, an approach from Coleman, who will return to League Two following Dale's relegation this season, has altered the picture. It is understood McIntyre's talks with the Reds have come to an end with him intent on pursuing a move to Spotland. Meanwhile, centre-back Toto Nsiala, who played 19 games on loan at Accrington last season, could become a transfer target after it was announced the 20-year-old will leave Everton at the end of his contract.
