Millers bag Logan on loan

Keeper Conrad Logan has become Rotherham's eighth capture of the summer after signing a six-month loan deal from Leicester.

The 25-year-old spent three months on loan with Bristol Rovers last season and kept five clean sheets in his 16 appearances. "Conrad has experience of getting promoted from this division and that is vital," manager Andy Scott said. "We have got a few lads that have come in now that have been promoted from this league so they know what it is about. Leicester rate Conrad very highly but credit to the lad, he wants to get out and play games. "He went to Bristol Rovers last season and nearly kept them up, so he will come in and add more competition to that position." Logan will be ineligible for the Millers' Carling Cup first-round clash however, as Don Valley plays host to his parent-club Leicester.
