Left-back attracting interest from Championship trio

Skysports.com understands defender Tom Kennedy will leave Rochdale when his contract expires in the summer. Left-back Kennedy played a key role for Dale as they clinched promotion out of League Two but now looks set to depart for pastures new. Championship clubs Doncaster, Leeds and Scunthorpe have all been monitoring the 25-year-old and could now be ready to swoop for his services. Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll confirmed earlier this week he had held initial discussions with Kennedy, but that no offer had yet been made. Leeds manager Simon Grayson could be tempted to make a move as he looks to bolster his squad on the Whites' return to the Championship. Kennedy's exit will come as a blow to Dale as they look forward to their first campaign outside the basement division in 36 years.
