Porter moves to Brisbane Road from Cray Wanderers

Leyton Orient have signed striker George Porter on a two-year deal from non-league outfit Cray Wanderers. The 17-year-old impressed enough during a trial spell with the League One club to earn a contract at Brisbane Road. O's manager Russell Slade believes the youngster could become a big star in the Football League. Slade told the club's official website: "George has huge potential. He's only had a year in football, but he has tonnes and tonnes of natural ability. "He's had a few training sessions with the first team and not looked out of place. We're going to have to wait with him to develop, but who knows. "He's got an opportunity now and hopefully the boy will take it." Meanwhile, the Os will take on Cray in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday 14th July.
