Rochdale defender Nathan Stanton will miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.
Stanton picked up the injury in training and he has been ruled out of his side's last few games of the campaign.
Rochdale boss Keith Hill admitted it was a blow to lose Stanton for the conclusion of the season.
"Nathan probably won't feature again this season because his injury needs to be seen by a specialist," said Hill.
"Losing Nathan at this stage of the season could have been crucial. Without him, we tend to drop a little deep and encourage the opposition to come forward.
"As always, we will get on with things as we have all season."
