Peterborough midfielder Kane Ferdinand has joined League Two Cheltenham on a two-month loan deal.

The 22-year-old, who has been a long-term target for boss Mark Yates, will be available to make his debut against Wycombe on Saturday. "I've finally got him having asked plenty of times," Yates told the club's official website. "He is a goal threat, he can play in a few different positions and he is a good size. "He has played in the Championship and he is hungry to play games and help us out, so I am really delighted to bring him in. "He did well at Southend, scored goals and gone to Peterborough and been a regular at times, so he'll be a good player for us."
