Following the 1-0 Championship loss to Hull at London Road on Saturday, Posh have failed to score in the three games since thrashing Ipswich 7-1 in front of the television cameras at the end of August.
However, Ferguson insists there will be no change in playing style.
"We must keep believing in what we are trying to do. It's been a disappointing run of results but we have competed in every match we have played so far so there is no need to start worrying about what we are doing," said Ferguson.
"Teams have not sussed us out. We caused Hull so many problems with our movement in the first half that they changed their formation to match us up after half an hour. We will certainly not be changing our style of play.
"We are in a very tough league where chances don't come along so often but we must keep faith in playing football as that's what suits this team best. I have great belief in the ability in my squad."
