Peterborough defender Scott Griffiths has temporarily turned his back on his club to sign a loan deal with Crawley Town for one month.
The left-back, who had a temporary spell in League Two last season with Chesterfield, has not featured for Posh this term.
Griffiths links up with former Peterborough players Josh Simpson and Sergio Torres in West Sussex.
Boss Steve Evans told the club's official website: "Scott is a talented player who I watched many times last season."
Griffiths added: "I spoke with Sergio who could not speak with enough praise of Crawley and the manager.
"The manager was impressive when I spoke to him, he was so enthusiastic and passionate about his football that I wanted to play for him."
