Winger joins from Stockport on three-year deal

Peterborough have completed the signing of winger Tommy Rowe from Stockport. Rowe has been linked with a move away from Edgeley Park for some time, with a number of Premier League clubs reportedly monitoring his progress earlier in the season. The 20-year-old has now been allowed to leave the Hatters after they went into administration, with Posh paying an undisclosed fee to secure his services. He has signed a three-year deal with Peterborough and manager Darren Ferguson is delighted to have picked him up ahead of next season's Championship campaign. "The chairman Darragh MacAnthony has again backed me to the hilt," Ferguson told the club's official website. "Tommy can play in a number of positions and he is a very good signing." Rowe added: "Peterborough are a club going places, we are in the Championship and the manager is very highly rated and I am looking forward to working with him. "I can't wait to get started in pre-season."
