Full-back agrees one-year contract at Moss Rose

Keith Alexander has added Sierra Leone international Ahmed Deen to his Macclesfield Town squad for next season. Deen has signed a one-year contract at Moss Rose and has most recently been playing non-league football with Bishop's Stortford. The left-back has previously played for Peterborough United and Macclesfield boss Alexander is hoping Deen can make an impact in League Two. "Ahmed is another player I have been keen to bring to the club," Alexander told the club's official website. "He gives us extra options at the back and much like Neil Harvey is itching to prove he is capable of playing in the Football League." Meanwhile, youngsters Nick Blackman, Shaun Brisley and James Jennings have all signed new contracts with Macclesfield.
