Simon Yeo has moved to Chester City from Peterborough for an undisclosed fee.
The 33-year-old striker has missed much of the current campaign after fracturing his cheekbone against Bury in September.
Yeo has scored just twice all season and has now moved on to pastures new with Mark Wright's Chester.
The former Lincoln front man goes straight into the squad for the game against Accrington at the weekend after signing a deal until the end of next season.
Meanwhile, Chester striker Gregg Blundell is set to join Darlington after The Quakers had an improved bid for the 33-year-old accepted.
