Wrexham have rejected an offer from Peterborough for Chris Llewellyn.

The former Hartlepool man has impressed this season at Wrexham scoring ten goals so far this term.

New Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson is keen to take Llewellyn to London Road, but Wrexham manager Brian Carey is determined to keep hold of the Welsh international.

"We have had an enquiry about Chris, but we have categorically turned it down," Carey told the club's official website.

"We are fully determined to keep all our players here for the fight ahead, indeed, our concern is focused on bringing players in and not losing them."
