Peterborough have offered a new three-year deal to goalkeeper Mark Tyler.
Tyler has been at London Road since joining as a trainee in 1994 and has been an ever-present in the starting line-up this season.
His current contract expires in the summer but manager Keith Alexander is hoping to tie him to the club until 2010.
"I have offered Mark Tyler a new three-year contract and he is thinking about it at the minute," Alexander told Peterborough's official website.
"Mark is one of the best goalkeepers in this division and I want to keep him here at London Road for at least three years.
"Mark is in fine form at the minute. He's been here a long time and is in his testimonial year at the club."
Striker Danny Crow signed a new two-year deal with Posh earlier this week.
