Bristol Rovers' injured duo Jim Paterson and Danny Woodards are edging closer to full fitness.
Scottish defender Paterson has been sidelined since breaking his leg in pre-season while former Exeter man Woodards suffered a serious knee injury in April. But the pair are back in non-contact training and hope to be available for selection within a month. "We're now getting them back into football work, which is great for their morale as well and their wellbeing," manager John Ward told the Bristol Evening Post. "It is non-contact stuff for now, but in another 3-4 weeks those two will not be far away from being considered for some football games. "They're both good trainers, really good professional boys and are pushing each other along."
