Dorman finds form at Pirates

A loan move to Bristol Rovers was precisely what Andy Dorman needed to kick-start a difficult season at Crystal Palace.

The midfielder featured just three times for the Eagles before making the temporary switch to the Memorial Stadium in November. And dropping down two divisions has helped Dorman escape the tedium of training all week only to miss out on matchdays. "It can be frustrating, as a footballer you want to be playing games. It's good now to be back involved playing games," he said. "Footballers live for the games on a Saturday and if Saturday comes around and you're not playing or you're sitting on the bench then it's not great. It's a completely different world. "It's been good for me to get out and play and I've enjoyed my time here. Some of our results have not been as good as we would have hoped but they're improving."
