Tranmere manager Les Parry has swooped to sign teenage striker Ryan Brunt on a one-month loan deal from Stoke.

The 18-year old has featured for the reserves and academy team at the Britannia Stadium after progressing through the youth system. Parry said: "Ryan is a great addition to our squad and I'm delighted to be able to bring him in for a month. "He's a very quick player, powerful and can score goals. "He's highly thought of at Stoke and has impressed our coaching staff whenever they've watched him. I'd like to thank Stoke City manager Tony Pulis for loaning Ryan to us. "Ryan gives us options and is the type of player we haven't got at the club and we're still searching for a more established striker as well."
