Mohamed aware of Yates help

Forward Kaid Mohamed has thanked Cheltenham manager Mark Yates for allowing him to establish himself in league football.

Mohamed, who has netted four times for the Robins to help them to third spot in League Two, previously had an unsuccessful stint in the Football League with Swindon, before rebuilding his career in non-league with Forest Green, Bath and AFC Wimbledon. However, since arriving at Whaddon Road in the summer, the 27-year-old has made the step up. "I'm feeling great and I'm able to show what I can do," he said. "I didn't really get the chance when I was at Swindon to express myself. But this gaffer is playing me every week and that's giving me confidence and I think that helps. "I'm enjoying playing my football and I'm fit and scoring goals which is great."
