Leicester City midfielder Oliver Norburn has extended his loan spell with Bristol Rovers until the end of the year.

The 18-year-old midfielder is a first-year professional with Leicester but he will now remain with the Pirates until December 31. Norburn has appeared twice for Rovers' first team, starring in the 5-2 win over Rotherham and the defeat to Burton. Speaking to the club's official website, manager Paul Buckle said: "He is going to lack experience and he is going to need the two in there with him to boss him if he starts, but he certainly doesn't lack on the ball and his bravery to go and receive the ball. "He is an exciting prospect for us."
