Bristol Rovers striker Scott McGleish claims a recent scan on his knee problem was purely precautionary.
McGleish was assessed after a slight injury sustained in training, but has since been given the all-clear by Rovers' medical team.
The former Leyton Orient forward, 37, said such scans are fairly routine for players of his age.
"When you get a bit older, these sorts of things are a bit more of a worry and I think that is why the gaffer (Paul Buckle) was so keen to make sure there were no problems," he told the Bristol Evening Post.
"I had a good feeling about my knee after training last Thursday, so the scan was basically a precaution, but I was delighted when the results came back all-clear."
