Bristol Rovers hope to have captain Matt Gill back fit in time for the weekend clash with Oxford.
Midfielder Gill has been out of action for the past week with a hamstring problem that has been pestering him for most of the season.
But after seeing a specialist last week the Rovers skipper thinks he might just be on the mend.
"They have got to the cause of the problem and I had a slight tear in my hamstring," he told the Bristol Evening Post.
"But I am hoping it could be okay for this weekend."
