Former QPR starlet on his way to Rovers
Bristol Rovers have a finalised a deal for former Queens Park Rangers defender Lee Brown.
The 20-year-old was released by Premier League QPR at the end of the season, after making one first-team appearance for the club.
Brown has spent the last two seasons gaining first-team experience in non-league with Salisbury and Hayes & Yeading.
After announcing he could leave, left-back Brown received a number of offers from League One and Two.
But he has now accepted Rovers' offer and is set to put pen-to-paper at the Memorial Stadium.
Manager Paul Buckle said: "Lee is another exciting young prospect and I am delighted he has chosen to join Bristol Rovers. I have seen him play a number of times and have been very impressed.
"A number of other League One and League Two clubs were after his services, but he expressed a real wish to come to Bristol Rovers and be a part of what we are doing here."
