Bristol Rovers climbed into the top 10 in League Two with a 2-0 home success over Barnet.

Stuart Nicholson broke the deadlock for Paul Trollope's side before Rickie Lambert clinched the points in injury time.

After a tight first half, the breakthrough arrived on the hour mark when Nicholson produced a low finish from inside the area.

Barnet pressed for an equaliser, but conceded a second goal deep into injury time as Lambert slotted home low into the net.

The victory lifts Rovers from 14th in the table to ninth, while Barnet fall below Mansfield Town into 18th on goal difference.
