BRISTOL ROVERS could be about to sign former Fulham goalkeeper James Bittner following an injury to regular number two Ryan Clarke.
The 19-year-old has spent the week training with The Pirates and it is thought that manager Gerry Francis (pictured) is weighing up the possibility of signing a fourth keeper as he feels that teenager Danny Greaves is still lacking in experience.
Bittner is currently turning out for Chippenham Town after failing to win a contract with either Crewe Alexandra or Northampton Town.
Clarke, meanwhile, has been sidelined with an ankle injury and an immediate return to fitness looks unlikely.
